Hehuanshan Main Peak (合歡山主峰) is 3,417 meters above sea level. Even without any equipment, walking about 1 km on concrete path (2-hour return walk) can one get to the summit. Although it is not the highest point of Hehuanshan, vast field of view makes here a perfect place to see the sunset. Here used to be a military restricted area and tourists were not allowed to get close.
